Anybody running a points distributor on there 383 or any other mopar motor.If so.....Does it like to eat up spark plugs?I'm fixing mine with electronic dist. and MSD ignition.

I haven't had that problem in years,  If you are using Champion Spark Plugs, change to Autolite Plugs, then your problem will be over for good

Autolites are the ones that kept doing that to me.lol...I know my Dad always used champion so i'll give them a run.The biggest thing is I have too much horsepower with points.

The only plug that I have had luck with on big and small blocks was the Bosch Platnum plug used champion and autolite and had fouling problems.

I have those in there now.But I cleaned them up and now I have to replace my Ballast Resistor.Hopefully it will start right up.
